A Very Berry Smoothie

For the past several weeks my go-to breakfast has been smoothies with a 1/4 cup oats. Smoothies are so refreshing and the combination of ingredients seem endless.

This morning, I couldn’t wait to have chia seeds back in the mix for that touch of healthy fat. I bought the Chia Warrior brand which was on sale at my local health food store. I cringed at spending the SALE price of $15 for the bag, but when adding chia seeds to most recipes, it only takes a little, so they last a long time!

Instead of freezing a banana, I opted to freeze my blueberries instead. I think I was craving that whole antioxidant thing. The color is amazing when the berries are blended! Cheers to feeling energized on this Tuesday!
